3 Keys to a Texans Win

3 Keys to a Texans Win

No. 2 — Protect QB Yates

The Bengals pounded T.J. Yates relentlessly in the first meeting, sacking him five times with 10 hits, a forced fumble and an interception. Returning G Mike Brisiel will help solidify the offensive line, which missed his consistency while he sat out three games with a broken fibula. LG Wade Smith will draw the assignment to contain RDT Geno Atkins, who led Cincinnati’s pass rush with eight sacks. The Texans must also be mindful of S Reggie Nelson, an excellent blitz specialist who is one of nine Bengals with at least two sacks this season.
